Mi-26t Ambulance Helicopter

The flying ambulance is intended for rendering emergency medical aid to casualties on board of helicopter, either on the ground or in flight, (in the volume of the first medical assistance with fulfillment of measurements on reanimation and intensive therapy) directly in the centre of sanitary losses point, with following transportation of the casualties to a hospital in the shortest possible term.




The flying ambulance allows to :

  • Dispatch medical teams and necessary medical equipment immediately to disaster areas in remote regions;
  • Rendering emergency medical aid to casualties on board of the helicopter (either on the ground or in flight);
  • Urgent evacuation of casualties to hospitals directly from the places of accidents;
  • Autonomous operation of the Flying Ambulance (on the ground) on unequipped sites.

The composition of the flying ambulance :

  • The reanimation modular (container) is intended for accomodation of hardly-wounded casualties and for providing of reanimation and intensive therapy measurements (on the ground or in flight);
  • The evacuation compartment is intended for accomodation of casualties on stretchers and providing of reanimation and intensive therapy measurements (on the ground or in flight);
  • The rear compartment is intended for treating casualties (on the ground or in flight);
